Ted Baker Opens Columbus Circle Store, Offers Free WiFi

British luxury fashion retailer Ted Baker London opened a new Manhattan store at The Shops at Columbus Circle. The store located in New York City’s booming midtown district, kicked off its grand opening fourth of July week with sales and gifts for customers, is the company’s fourth location in the city.  

In addition to its sale offerings, the store offers free Wi-Fi so shoppers can access the company’s website, and third party apps that help shoppers choose ready-to-wear items.

According to Magic Online, the store’s 1650-square-foot layout was designed to be a reflection of its location at Columbus Circle and Charring Cross, the exact center of London. FashionUnited explains the design as, “Columbus Circle is the point from which all official distances from New York are measured”. The boutique also feature a 3D cityscape design. 

Ted Baker has been making plans to begin expanding across the globe. The company currently has 22 stand-alone retail stores in the United States, five in Canada, and is carried in 31 Bloomingdale’s stores. According to the Telegraph, the company has seen booming online sales which guaranteed its continue to expand the company overseas.
