Dean and Deluca Set To Open 40 Wall Street This Summer

Gourmet Grocery and cafe chain Dean & DeLuca is opening a new location at 40 Wall Street in Lower Manhattan. The new location, set to open this summer, is rumored to be more of a restaurant versus its traditional grocery store to cater to the dining market in the high-traffic tourist filled area.  

The deal was announced near the end of 2015 and signed with PACE Development Corporation and is located in one of the properties owned by Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump

Dean & DeLuca locations are notable for the market, airy vibe customers can experience due to the layout of the locations. Offering everything from fresh flowers to French baked goods to oils and vinegar, the grocer brings luxury, gourmet food to the customer. In store Wi-Fi, online ordering and delivery are options for Dean and DeLuca’s customers in-store and on its website

The grocer first opened in 1977 in SoHo and quickly gained popularity. Today, Dean & DeLuca has multiple locations in New York City, nationwide, and has expanded internationally including locations in Japan, Thailand, the Middle East.
