EdgeWave Provides Cybersecurity For The US Open

Technology at the annual US Open is secure from hacking and threats thanks to EdgeWave Inc. The cybersecurity and internet access provided at the event is a part of a deal between EdgeWave and the US Tennis Association. The internet services include end-to-end Internet policy enforcement. The 750,000 fans at the event will be able to log on and use the internet freely. Users accessing undesirable content such as online gambling sites will be unable to do so on the system as a part of the security.

EdgeWave’s iPrism Secure Web Gateway provides fine-grained content filtering combined with advance threat defense. With iPrism the USTA can set flexible, yet granular security policies for Internet users and automatically block flagged URLs and web pages from reaching connection endpoints. EdgeWave managed 4.5 TBs of data over 210,000 unique endpoint connections at previous US open tournaments. It also  maintained a secure 850+Mbps throughput with zero network latency.
