iPhone 7 Rumors: Bloggers, Media, flood Internet With Leaked Details About New Phone

Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers’ Conference fed the rumor mill about the iPhone 7. Scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2016, the iPhone 7 is thought to have a similar structural design to the iPhone 6, but there are a few updates that may come as a surprise to Apple fans. Rumors leaked from Chinese supplier Macotakara suggests that the actual model of the phone won’t change, but that the relatively popular Space Gray color will be replaced by a stunning deep blue.

MacRumors reports that Apple is expected to be following in the footsteps of competitors Motorola in throwing out the 3.5 mm headphone jack, although Apple plans on replacing it with headphones that attach through a Lightning Port, or that connect using Bluetooth. Apple is expected to continue to release two different versions of the model, so consumers will be able to choose between an iPhone 7 or an iPhone 7 Plus. There are also rumors of Apple referring to this model as the iPhone Pro.

Don’t plan on purchasing the latest model? Your iPhone could still be in for some major changes. At the WWDC Apple executives released information about the latest software update iOS 10, or what they are referring to as their “biggest release yet.” Read more about it here.
