Free Wi-Fi Coming To Herald Square

LinkNYC, the organization responsible for spreading free Wi-Fi across the city, announced that more hotspots are coming to midtown. The newest area to get free Wi-Fi is Herald Square. LinkNYC made the announcement via Twitter. The spring has been busy for the organization. LinkNYC previously announced new free Wi-Fi at West 59th at Columbus Circle. A tower has been installed in the neighborhood to test out the signal and eventually give the neighborhood free Wi-Fi. Free Wi-Fi was also added to 23rd and Eighth Ave. More free internet spots are expected to be added across the city throughout 2016. Some of the hot spots are in beta mode for initial testing.
