Tribeca Film Fest Gets Tech Friendly for 2016

The annual Tribeca Film Festival added tech to its lineup this year for festival goers. Among its offerings this year was virtual reality demonstrations sponsored by IBM and The New York Times. Other tech booths included apps in development related to social media. Festival organizers have also added live streaming online for free and with a festival pass.

The Tribeca Film Festival has been taking place across the Tribeca area of New York City since 2002. The festival is an outlet for local and international films.
