Apple Watch 2: New Yorkers, Consumers Shop Band Options Amid Rumors of A New Model

New York City is home of some of the busiest Apple retail stores in the country. When Apple releases the Apple Watch 2, stores across the five boroughs could see more traffic. Since the initial April 2015 launch of the Apple Watch, Apple has released several band styles that fit more to the style of its wearer. From the Sport to the luxurious, hand-crafted Hermès bands, Apple provides a custom style for everyone. Alongside a variety of textures such as durable nylon and stainless steel, most of the bands come in a variety of colors.

According to Apple’s website, the price of the bands start at $49 and goes upwards of $690. Consumers have the option of choosing between the 38MM or 42MM sizes. The availability of each style varies among the different options. If you aren’t a fan of the bands Apple has to offer, other third party retailers such as Etsy and Amazon sell even more unique band options to choose from. The wearable technology site Wareable highlights the best third party bands to purchase for all occasions here.
