Influencers are a big part of social media. From celebrities to bloggers, the business of advertising via social media posts has become a popular way to promote a product or service using someone trusted by the public.
Our team recently visited a debate hosted by Cognito exploring the topic of influencers and regulation focused on financial products. The evening event took place in May and included a panel of debaters for and against the topic. The two debating panels included Allan Schoenberg of Nasdaq, Kamiu Lee of Activate and Caleb Silver from Investopedia.
