Vonage Boosts Business Customers in NYC, Nationwide

Voip provider Vonage, is beefing up its marketing to small business owners in New York City and around the country. The company is expanding its cloud and virtual office for small business owners. Gaining more customers will give the brand a chance to grab more market share in the cloud services business.

“In order to succeed in today’s competitive workforce, small businesses must stay one step ahead of workplace challenges and obstacles that arise to keep their businesses running smoothly. This is especially true when you look at their communications needs – how employees collaborate and communicate with each other, as well as how they communicate with their customers.”Aaron Charlesworth, Vice President of Product Marketing for Vonage told New York City Wired. “For businesses located in cities, such as NYC, where high real estate costs can become a huge burden for small business owners, cloud-based communications systems such as Vonage enable employees to work remotely while maintaining the same level of productivity and consistent business presence as if they were in the office and reducing the need for large office space.”

In 2015, Vonage became one of the sponsors for the NYC Media Lab. The sponsorship helped NYC Media Lab with research and development that the lab conducts related to innovation in technology, new media and communications. Virtual Receptionist, Never Miss a Call features, and Voicemail Transcription are among services it offers to businesses.
