Whole Foods Closes Bryant Park Store, Operates As Delivery Only Location

Amazon owned Whole Foods is making changes to its Bryant Park store. The company sent an announcement to its New York City customers via email that Whole Foods Bryant Park, is Temporarily closing its doors and moving to a delivery only model effective April 15th.

Whole Foods Bryant Park, services the midtown area close to Times Square. In addition to the thousands of residents that live near the store, are even more office workers and tourists who frequently visit the store In normal business environments. The hundreds of offices surrounding the store are now empty due to New York City’s state of emergency due to the contagious and potentially deadly Covid 19 disease.

The focus on delivery orders could be good for business for Whole Foods Bryant Park store, since online systems for grocery delivery across New York City have been overwhelmed and unable to meet the demand denying service to customers when volume is high.
