Sprint Takes Top Spot For Philadelphia Call Performance

Sprint’s Philadelphia network received the top ranking for Call Performance and a shared first place ranking in Network Reliability according to a new RootScore® Report by independent mobile analytics firm RootMetrics.

This is the first time the company won the award for Call Performance and the second time it shared the award for Network Reliability over the past year.

We work incredibly hard every day to improve our network in order to deliver the consistent reliability and performance that our customers demand,” Karen Paletta, Sprint Regional President said in a statement. “These awards reinforce the fact that there has never been a better time to switch to Sprint.”

Network performance in Philadelphia has continued to improve with the addition of new cell sites, increased coverage and capacity, and systematic optimization of each cell site to maximize performance. During testing RootMetrics was also able to experience Sprint’s carrier aggregation technology on the 2.5GHz spectrum band which has been added to 128 sites across the market in the past 12 months. Sprint has also made strategic improvements to the sites which cover Lincoln Financial Field and the Wells Fargo Center.
