New York Based Ringly Boosts Wearable Tech Appeal

New York-based Ringly has invented a wearable technology product that combines tech and jewelry. The product pushes the importance of keeping up with notifications in one stylish product.

The rings and bracelets look no different than what one might purchase in a regular store, but it has the ability to give the wearer notifications via vibrations and color patterns. The user can choose from four vibration patterns and five colored light options. By downloading the Ringly app onto a smartphone device, users can set the notification patterns and manage what they want to be notified about.

Ringly is designed to be customize-friendly for users with notification options that range from phone calls, emails, and text messages to their social media handles. It can sync with over 100 applications. The smart jewelry can also track steps and count calories, similar to the popular Fitbit, just with a more stylish appearance. Ringly currently has six smart bracelet designs and 8 smart rings available to purchase on their website. Each purchase includes a charging cable and jewelry box. Let us know your thoughts on Twitter @NYCWired.
