NJFX Expands New Jersey Data Center Location

New Jersey-based NJFX, is expanding the campus surrounding its data center. The campus expansion includes a 10,000-square-foot facility with business continuity work seats licensed for rental by businesses seeking to use the facility. The additional seats gives metro providers strategic disaster recovery capabilities.

“Having the ability to support our clients with a disaster recovery plan, while also providing them with the convenience of having secure, direct access to their network at our cable landing station campus, is just another amenity that sets NJFX apart from other providers in the industry,” Gil Santaliz, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NJFX said in a statement.

The new NJFX seats sit 64-feet above sea level as an added disaster recovery protection and offers customers security protocols and access to the NJFX Customer Portal.

Disaster recovery is a popular service in the data center business. Long Island-based Webair enabled its facilities with special disaster recovery technology. Webair’s DRaaS offering provides its customers with the ability to immediately re-enable services from locations within minutes or seconds before the “disaster” took place.
