BlackBerry Priv Available On Verizon Now

Verizon is offering its customers the BlackBerry Priv Android powered phone. Customers on Verizon’s network can get the phone on contract or buy an unlocked version and activate to an account. The phone is available beginning March 3, 2016. Verizon boasted about the phone via Twitter.

Verizon was among companies that did not offer the Priv following its November 2015 release. BlackBerry released the initial inventory of the Priv in GSM versions which included companies like T-Mobile and AT&T. Sprint and Verizon, CDMA phone carriers, did not have initial access to offer the phone.

Verizon has been hanging on to the top spot among New York City broadband providers. The company has pledged to boost its infrastructure in New York State. The commitment is rumored to be about $2 billion spanning several years. Verizon continues to boost earnings and FiOS customers to stay ahead in NYC and around the country.
