Mayors, Governors Nationwide Join NY with #StayatHome Orders Posted on Social Media
While the White House ponders a national order to reopen the country in April, mayors and governors of the nations most populated cities and states join New York City and state in solidarity urging residents to stay home and stop the spread of the potentially deadly COVID-19 disease, known as the Coronavirus.
Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit, Boston, Connecticut, New Jersey and Philadelphia are among the mayors and governors issuing executive orders for residents to stay at home, avoid large groups and practice social distancing.
