Webair, Logicalis, Named Among Top 100 Cloud Providers

New York-based Cloud and infrastructure provider Webair was named among the top 100 cloud providers. The company was a part of the annual list compiled by Penton and Talkin Cloud, a digital website focused on web based services. In addition to Webair, other cloud providers from the New York City area were on the list including Abacus Group LLC, Logicalis US, and Jersey City-based Datapipe.

“There’s a significant change taking place in IT today, and cloud computing is at the heart of it,” Eric Brooks, Cloud and Automation Practice Leader, Logicalis US said.  “Organizations that want to be agile enough to quickly respond to changes in business environments need to rely on a host of compute capabilities delivered as-a-service in the cloud.

New York City has become a hot spot for technology and data companies, including the growth of cloud services business. According to a report by The Atlantic, New York City ranks fourth in the world for venture capital investment in technology, including cloud.

Orza, President and CEO of Webair.  “Across the globe, enterprises are embracing the cloud to reduce costs, enhance agility and deploy mission-critical applications. Whatever the business requirement, Webair’s cloud environment grows as you grow, supporting everything from a simple development to hosting resource-intensive applications.”
