Republican National Convention Live Streaming Boosts Tech, Offers App
The Republican National Convention is aiming to draw more viewers to its political convention in Cleveland, Oh. The GOP has secured high tech digital resources to draw more viewers to this year’s convention featuring New Yorker, businessman and presumptive nominee Donald Trump.
Live streaming is among its tech offerings for those who can’t attend the convention. Viewers can download the RNC 2016: Official App on iTunes and Google Play to stream on phones and devices. The app is powered by AT&T Services, Inc. The app features on demand highlight videos from the convention, indoor venue maps for those attending the convention. There are also special features added to the app from the 2016 Cleveland Host Committee. Those at the convention can also find out transportation options and hotel event information.
The Republican National Convention is set for July 18-21 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Oh. The convention will feature major republican party leaders and Donald Trump‘s wife and family as headline speakers. This year’s convention and nominee has sparked controversy among delegates who do not approve of the presumptive nominee and the Never Trump grassroots movement to block Donald Trump from representing the party in the November presidential election. Donald Trump is expected to address the party during the acceptance speech to become the official nominee for the GOP on the closing day of the convention, Thursday, July 21.
