Boston Based Women Owned Startup Launch ‘Cocktail Sneakers’
A Boston-based female led company is redefining the term “Girl Boss” with the launch of a new shoe line, Cocktail Sneakers. The company’s founder, Susan Hassett said the sneaker line was inspired by the need for a well constructed, feminine, comfortable and beautiful sneaker.
“I had been in search of a sneaker smart enough for an impromptu meeting and polished enough for after sunset, but every ‘fashion’ sneaker on the market was just a permutation of a gym shoe,” Hassett said. “It was during cocktail hour on Nantucket, relegated to my generic sneakers, when I first conceptualized Cocktail Sneakers.”
