MTA to Live Stream Meeting on YouTube April 3
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is embracing technology for its monthly meetings. The MTA announced that its Board will gather for a special meeting open to the public on Monday, April 3, at 9:30 a.m. at its headquarters at 2 Broadway in lower Manhattan. The meeting will be broadcast live via YouTube on the organization’s channel YouTube.com/mtainfo and on the MTA’s website, at service.mta.info/webcastplayer.
Since 2016 the MTA has been publishing meetings on YouTube for those who can’t make it in person. The MTA YouTube channel has more than 10,000 followers with hundreds of views per video.
The April 3 meeting will take up consideration of a slate of five procurements that were approved by the MTA Board’s committees on March 20. They were originally slated for consideration at the MTA’s regularly monthly meeting on March 22, but consideration was postponed due to last minute scheduling conflicts. More details about the meetings can be found at MTA.info.
