Joe Biden, Kamala Harris Sworn in as President and Vice President

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were officially Sworn in to office on January 20. The democratic candidates had a traditional outdoor ceremony with coronavirus safety protocols in place. Prior to the noon swearing in ceremony, former President Donald Trump said goodbye in a small ceremony in Washington D.C. prior to boarding a plane to Florida. Mr. Trump will reside there in his post White House days.

President Biden started work his first day in office by signing multiple executive orders including orders to help with the coronavirus crisis, stop construction on the Mexican border wall, rejoining the Paris Climate agreement and rejoining the World Health Organization.
