DE-CIX Unveils Service Insights System For NYC Customers

DE-CIX is beefing up its service offerings for customers in the New York City market. The company launched a Service Insights System to help customers gain detailed internet traffic relationships with customers. The new system can help customers divide GlobePEER traffic into multiple sections to monitor peering traffic of up to five customers. GlobePEER is an efficient and cost-effective service designed to reduce IP-transit and network costs by aggregating different ISPs on a single Layer 2 switching platform.

In 2015 DE-CIX made business deals to expand its business in the NYC market. Among deals was an agreement to provide technology infrastructure services for its clients through NYI, a data center and colocation provider. DE-CIX also made a deal with cloud services company Akamai, to provide internet exchange services at 111 8th Ave in the Manhattan.
