LIRR Train Crash: 3 Dead, Train Derailed

The Long Island Railroad experienced long delays, dozens of first responders and three dead citizens following a train and vehicle collision Tuesday night in Nassau county.

The train crash resulted in a derailed train and three passengers killed in the truck struck by the train. According to NBC News 4, the driver of the vehicle apparently drove past the crossing gate in Westbury and collided with the train leaving the station.
